Michelle graduated California State University, Chico with a bachelors of science. She has been flight instructing in the Rocky Mountains of Montana for the past 11 years. Michelle is a Designated Pilot Examiner, ATP, MEII, CFII, CFI, tail wheel, Beech Jet 400A, factory certified with Cirrus & Columbia (Cessna Corvallis) aircraft. She has been a licensed pilot for 20+ years. She specialized in Muli Engine and advanced avionics flight training in the San Francisco Bay Area prior to establishing Glacier Flight Training. |

Phil Hanson Flight Instructor ~ CFII Phil Hanson is a native Montanan, born and raised on a ranch in Northwest Montana. Growing up next to an airport and with family members in the industry, he’s had a passion and fascination with Aviation since he was a child. After high school Phil attended UND’s (University of North Dakota) aeronautics program and earned a BBA in Aviation Management. During his training at UND he completed his Commercial and Flight Instructor Certificates as well as his Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings in fixed wing aircraft. After graduating he returned to Montana and added on his Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate. He has over 300hrs of logged time instructing in the Mountains of the Northwest. When Phil’s not out enjoying the Beauty of Montana from the Air You might run into him mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, on the lake wakeboarding, fishing a stream or enjoying another of the many outdoor activities Montana has to offer. |

James Hinchey~CFI, CFII, MEI, and MEII James Hinchey has lived in Montana since graduating high school in southern California. He attended the University of Montana where he received a bachelor of arts in archaeology. Flying seemed like an unattainable goal until he walked into a flight center in Missoula and realized just how easy it is to make the dream come true. Since then he has become a CFI, CFII, MEI, and MEII. James has been instructing in Montana for 5 years as well as flying mountain charters to some of the states more secluded airstrips. In addition to flying, he is likely to be skiing, hiking, rafting, fishing, and generally enjoying this beautiful place we are fortunate enough to call home.
